Insurance & Payment

We believe cost shouldn't be a barrier to getting help. Here's how payment works at Anchoring Services.

Our Fees

Subscription Plans (Sliding Scale)

For clients without insurance or for whom standard rates are a barrier, we offer monthly subscription plans that make consistent therapy more affordable.

Individual Therapy:

  • Tier 1: 2 sessions/month → $250 ($125/session)

  • Tier 2: 4 sessions/month → $400 ($100/session)

Couples/Family Therapy:

• Tier 1: 2 sessions/month → $350 ($175/session)

• Tier 2: 4 sessions/month → $500 ($125/session)

How Subscriptions Work:

• Initial Diagnostic Assessment ($165) is billed separately before your subscription begins

• Enrollment begins on the 1st of each month; requests must be received by the 15th of the prior month

• Payment is processed automatically on the 1st via SimplePractice

• You self-schedule your sessions

• Missed or unused sessions do not roll over and are non-refundable

• Subscriptions renew automatically unless written notice is provided by the 15th

Insurance We Accept

We work with most major insurance plans in Minnesota. If you don't see your plan listed, reach out and we'll help you figure out your options.

As a courtesy, we submit claims to your insurance provider. You are responsible for verifying your benefits, coverage limitations, and any pre-authorization requirements.

Copays are due at the time of service. Deductibles and coinsurance are billed to your card on file after your insurance claim is processed.

Please note: Some plans have annual limits for mental health benefits. Check with your insurer to understand your coverage.

Don't See Your Insurance?

We may still be able to help. If we're not currently in-network with your plan, we can often apply to join your insurance's provider network so your visits would be covered going forward.

In the meantime, you have options:

Subscription Plan

Our monthly subscription makes consistent therapy more affordable, starting at $100/session for individual therapy.

Sliding Scale

Some of our therapists offer their own sliding scale fees. Ask when you schedule.

Out-of-Network Benefits

Check your plan type and your out-of-network benefits. Many plans offer partial reimbursement. We can provide a superbill for you to submit.

Understanding Your Plan Type

PPO (Preferred

Provider Organization)

Out-of-network coverage available with partial reimbursement. No referral required.

HMO (Health

Maintenance Organization)

Out-of-network coverage usually limited or none. Referral often required.

EPO (Exclusive

Provider Organization)

Out-of-network coverage usually none, check your plan. No referral required.

Not sure what type of plan you have? Check your insurance card or call member services. Our practice manager Tiffany can also help you figure out your options.

EAP (Employee Assistance Program)

We accept EAP benefits. You must have your authorization number before your first appointment to proceed with billing.

Other Ways to Pay

Cancellation Policy

We ask for at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.

Late Cancellation or No-Show Fee: $165
(full private pay session rate)

This fee is automatically billed to your card on file. Insurance does not cover missed or late-cancelled appointments. Excessive missed or late-cancelled sessions may result in discharge from the practice.

If you're running late, you'll receive the time remaining in your scheduled session.

Questions About Billing?

Our practice manager Tiffany is happy to help you understand your options and navigate insurance questions.
