Adult Therapy
For the overthinking, the decision paralysis, and the nervous system that won't settle.
You're not lazy. You're stalled. Your brain is working overtime, spinning on decisions that should be simple, replaying conversations, absorbing every headline and worst-case scenario until your body holds it all as tension.

You've tried to push through. You've tried to ignore it. But the headaches, the knots in your stomach, the 2am ceiling-staring, they're telling you something needs to change.

We can help you build skills to calm your nervous system, set boundaries on what you let into your mental space, and actually move forward.
What We Help With
We work with adults who are dealing with:
If any of this sounds familiar, we can help.

What Adult Therapy Looks Like Here
Therapy at Anchoring Services is practical. You'll learn tools for calming your nervous system when it's in overdrive, setting boundaries on what gets your mental energy, and handling the situations that keep tripping you up.

We'll help you unpack the expectations you've been carrying, figure out which ones are actually yours, and let go of the ones that aren't serving you. You'll learn to set realistic expectations for yourself, build discipline without beating yourself up, and give yourself grace when you fall short. And when expectations come from other people, we'll work on how to communicate clearly, understand what's actually being asked, and decide whether it's realistic or healthy for you.

We use approaches like CBT, solution-focused therapy, mindfulness techniques, and trauma-informed care, tailored to what you actually need. You'll leave sessions with things to try, skills to practice, and a clearer sense of what's working.

Sessions are typically weekly or biweekly, 53 minutes each.
"My previous therapy focused on 'why' but I needed 'how to fix it.' This approach teaches practical tools and techniques. Real-time responsiveness to current life situations vs. a rigid treatment plan."

What Our Clients Say
"I've worked with my fair share of therapists over the years, and it can be hard to find someone you truly connect with. Working with Rebecca has been a healing experience. She brings warmth, vulnerability, and connection into every session. Therapy here isn't just about talking; it's about doing the inner work, building coping skills, and learning how to make choices that support a healthier life."
